1 trench, 1 day, 3 occasions: As a busy working woman, fashion editor and stylist
@laura.jane.brown has mastered dressing a hero piece from desk to dinner. Here is how she styles her Bouguessa FW20 Sarah Button-downed Trench with just a few simple accessory swaps.
ON A SHOOT:
When I have a shoot I always reach for comfortable clothing as I'm running around on set. I wore a simple plain black tee and clean white boyfriend jeans under my trench, and paired with my handbag worn as a cross body, comfy chunky black slides and a gold chain for a finishing touch.
OFFICE MEETING:
I like to look smart but fashionable at the office. I added a leather blazer and exposed the collar over the trench for a play on textures. I switched my shoes to black silk mules and held my handbag by the handles for a more polished look.
DINNER:
I took a black silk material belt to match my office mules and wore the trench as a simple, sophisticated dress. For a finishing touch I popped the collar and switched out my handbag for a tonal vintage Fendi.
