Dubai-based Fashion Director and Stylist Jade Chilton - @jadestyledirector shows us how she’s styling the SS21 Kiran Pocket Dress for three different occasions.
WEEKEND BRUNCH
After a year of wearing humdrum - mainly grey - outfits, an injection of explosive colour is exactly what I want. A vibrant stripe bag, candy-inspired necklace and beaded green sandals is enough to pep up my mood and this minimal, yet suitably chic dress. Styling tip: With a versatile beige tone you can play with lots of colour. Don't be afraid to have fun especially after the year we’ve had!
WORK MEETING
When it comes to work I tend to keep the colour palette clean and simple with equally streamlined silhouettes so I’ve toned down the drama of this beautiful voluminous dress with a belt bag and added some height to my small (but mighty) 5ft5 frame with stacked Gucci sandals to make enough of a statement at an important meeting or press event. Tip: If I’m running around from appointment to appointment I’ll swap the platforms for black Birkenstocks for comfort.
DINNER AND DRINKS
Never one to shy away from colour, I’ve elevated this neutral hued summer dress with a bright blue bag and printed silk scarf to nip in my waist. I adore how the skirt moves when I’m wearing high heels, it feels super elegant. Styling tip: The wide square neckline allows for a chunky good necklace to toughen up this pretty dress.
